Craft ale has swept through the capital in past years. The London Brewers’ Alliance was only established in 2010, and there’s now 30 microbreweries peppered all over the city. Judging by the rise in appetite for non-commercial beer, it was only a matter of time until the trend spread onto our smartphones.
Online ale finder, Perfect Pint, have launched a free app that lets you find specific ales in different pubs all over the country, making your favourite brew a few taps away. They’ve even released an amusing little video to publicise it (below).
Great to see something so specialist reaching a domain that’s so commercial. Craft beer is officially cool.
